Nigerian comedian Doctall Kingsley, popularly known as Ntakirutimana among Rwandan audiences, is set to return to Kigali on November 27, 2026, for a stand-up comedy show titled “Ntakirutimana Experience” at Kigali Universe.
The upcoming performance is part of the Thank God It’s Funny (TGIF) comedy series, organised by Sunday Night Live, which regularly brings English-language comedy performances to audiences in Kigali.
Kingsley, whose real name is Kingsley Ogbonna, adopted the Kinyarwanda name Ntakirutimana to express his affection for Rwanda, a country he frequently praises in comedy videos shared on social media.
The comedian has performed in Rwanda several times since 2023, developing a strong connection with local audiences through his humour and use of Kinyarwanda expressions.
His first performance in Rwanda took place on October 29, 2023, during “The Upcoming Diaspora,” a comedy show organised by Rwandan comedian Japhet Mazimpaka at Camp Kigali.
He returned on June 9, 2024, for the Iwacu Summer Comedy Festival at the Gikondo Expo Grounds, where he shared the stage with Rwandan comedians, including Rusine Patrick and Joshua Comedian.
Kingsley made his third appearance in Kigali on July 20, 2025, when he held his own comedy show, “Ntakirutimana Coming to Rwanda,” at Camp Kigali.
Beyond his live performances, the Nigerian comedian has continued to express his admiration for Rwanda through humorous videos on social media, occasionally speaking Kinyarwanda and referring to himself as Ntakirutimana.
Kingsley is also widely recognised for his popular catchphrase, “This Life No Balance,” which has become closely associated with his comedy.
He has built his career through stand-up performances and comedy videos shared on platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, attracting audiences in Nigeria and other African countries.
His appearances in Rwanda between 2023 and 2025 have strengthened his connection with the country’s comedy audience.
The upcoming “Ntakirutimana Experience” is scheduled for November 27 at Kigali Universe, marking another return to the country where Kingsley has established a following through his performances and social media content.
