A delegation from the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), led by the Commander of the Land Forces, Major General Vincent Nyakarundi, is on a four-day visit to Morocco.
The delegation, which is on a four-day working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, held talks with the leadership of that country’s armed forces.
These talks took place on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, according to the RDF administration.
RDF announced that on Tuesday the Commander of the Land Forces was received by the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, at the main headquarters in Rabat.
During the reception, the leadership of the Rwandan and Moroccan armed forces held discussions focused on continuing to strengthen the existing cooperation, after the two countries signed a military cooperation agreement.
After those discussions, another meeting was held between the two sides, which then began talks on education and training, as well as the RDF’s role in peacekeeping and security in the region and internationally.
