Aston Villa Sets August 7 Sale Date for Visit Rwanda-Branded Kits

Aston Villa has announced that its 2026/27 kit, featuring the Visit Rwanda branding, goes on sale from Friday, 7 August, and that fans who already bought the unbranded version will be able to get the branding added free of charge.

The announcement was made by the club’s leadership on Monday, 3 August 2026, shortly after Aston Villa signed a partnership agreement with the Government of Rwanda to promote the Visit Rwanda campaign.

The club’s statement read: “Aston Villa’s 2026/27 Adidas shirts will be sold in store with full Visit Rwanda branding from Friday, August 7.”

“Kits purchased in all club stores from this date will carry our new front-of-shirt sponsor, a partnership which was announced in July,” the club added.

The club also noted that adult shirts will carry an additional sponsor on the sleeve: “Adult shirts will also feature Betano on the sleeve going forward following the extension of Kaizen Gaming’s partnership with Villa as Official Sleeve Partner.”

Fans who had already bought an unbranded home shirt for the new season won’t need to purchase a new one. “Villans who have already purchased an unbranded 2026/27 home shirt can have the Visit Rwanda branding applied free of charge by the club,” the statement said.

This offer is open to all supporters, regardless of where they bought their shirt. “Whether you purchased your kit in-store at Villa Park, in The Bullring, online or at JD Sports, all supporters are eligible to redeem this offer,” the club said.

To claim the free branding, fans simply need to bring their shirt to either of the club’s two stores. “Simply bring your shirt into any club store (Villa Park or The Bullring) and speak to a member of our team from Friday morning,” the statement explained, adding that during busier periods, staff will let customers know how long the process will take.

Aston Villa, one of the most widely supported clubs in England, made the announcement two weeks after signing a partnership agreement with the Government of Rwanda to promote the Visit Rwanda campaign, encouraging people around the world to visit the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” The agreement, signed on 14 July, covers all of the club’s teams, men’s, women’s, and youth sides, who will all wear the Visit Rwanda branding on their shirts going forward.
