Singer Alyn Sano is among the artists competing for a chance to perform at Jingle Ball Village in Los Angeles through the Next Music Star competition, according to a local entertainment report. The winner will also receive a $10,000 cash prize.
Organised by Elevate Global, the competition brings together singers, rappers, DJs and other musical acts, offering them an opportunity to gain exposure and advance their careers.
The winning artist will perform at Jingle Ball Village, an entertainment event held ahead of the main Jingle Ball concert, on December 4, 2026.
The competition is decided through public voting, with eligible fans allowed to cast one free vote daily or purchase additional votes to support their preferred contestants.
The first voting round began on October 15 and runs until October 26, when the top 20 contestants from each group will advance to the next stage.
Further elimination rounds will follow, including quarterfinals and semifinals, before the final voting stage concludes on November 29. The winners are expected to be determined by November 30.
Sano has previously performed on international stages, including the FIFA Fan Festival in Houston during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Her participation in the competition, as reported by local media, comes as she continues pursuing opportunities beyond Rwanda’s music industry.
The next voting deadline on October 26 will determine which contestants advance to the competition’s second round.
