Liverpool Featured Kigali Convention Centre and Radisson Blu in Arsenal Matchday Post

Liverpool featured Kigali Convention Centre and the adjoining Radisson Blu hotel in an Instagram post promoting its Premier League match against Arsenal.

The image, published on the club’s official account on Sunday, November 1, showed captain Virgil van Dijk and forward Bradley Barcola riding in a red open-top car through a stylised Kigali street. The convention centre’s illuminated dome and the hotel appeared behind them.

“Racing into Match day,” Liverpool captioned the post, adding the hashtag #LFCAfrica. A roadside display in the image showed the fixture details, including the 6:30pm kick-off time in Rwanda.

Supporters responded with Rwandan flags and messages welcoming the club’s use of Kigali imagery.

Liverpool enters the match with a strong home record against Arsenal. The Gunners have not won on their last 13 Premier League visits to Anfield, recording five draws and eight defeats since their 2-0 victory in the 2012-13 season.

Liverpool won the corresponding fixture last season 1–0 through a Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick. The return meeting at the Emirates Stadium ended goalless, leaving Arsenal without a goal in either league encounter between the sides in 2025–26.

Alexander Isak has scored six goals in his last six Premier League appearances, while Arsenal have recorded five league clean sheets this season, the joint-highest total.

The match at Anfield is scheduled to kick off at 4:30pm GMT, or 6:30pm in Kigali.
