Rwanda earned more than $9.9 million from agricultural and livestock products exported over a five-day period, according to data from the National Agricultural Export Development Board.
A total of 9,656 tonnes of different products exported between September 28 and October 2, 2026 generated $9,940,431, equivalent to more than Rwf14 billion.
Coffee generated the highest revenue among the individually listed products, with 609 tonnes earning $1,664,822.
Tea exports reached 400 tonnes and generated $1,105,038, while 718 tonnes of fruits brought in $674,055.
Vegetable exports totalled 489 tonnes and generated $508,124, while 18 tonnes of flowers earned $86,857.
Animal products accounted for 285 tonnes of exports and generated $558,518.
The largest volume was recorded under the category of other products, where 7,137 tonnes generated $5,343,017.
The category also contributed the largest share of the overall export value during the period.
The products were shipped to markets including China, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, South Africa and India, as well as several African countries.
