Supporting small businesses can therefore benefit the wider economy. When people buy from local businesses, recommend them and pay for their services, they help keep economic activity within communities.
Small businesses may start with only one person, a small shop or a simple idea, but their combined contribution can be significant. They are an important part of Rwanda’s economic development and can help create opportunities for people across the country.
