Iby’ingenzi wamenya ku nkingo za Marburg zatangiye gutangwa mu Rwanda n’uburyo zabonetse

Mu Rwanda hatangiye igikorwa cyo gutanga urukingo rw’icyorezo cya Marburg kimaze guhitana abantu 12 byari bizwi ko nta muti nta n’urukingo. Ni urukingo rwatangiye gukoreshwa muri 2018 muri Leta Zunze Ubumwe za America. Menya igihe uwaruhawe atangirira kugira ubudahangarwa, n’andi makuru kuri uru rukingo.

Umunyamabanga wa Leta muri Minisiteri y’Ubuzima, Dr. Yvan Butera avuga ko Guverinoma y’u Rwanda yakoresheje imbaraga nyinshi kugira ngo haboneke izi nkingo zatangiye gutangwa.

Ni inkingo zabonetse ku bufatanye bwa Guverinoma y’u Rwanda n’Ikigo cyAbanyamerika ‘Sabin Vaccine Institute’ gifite ubunararibonye mu gukora inkingo.

Izi nkingo zatangiye gutangwa mu Rwanda kuri iki Cyumweru tariki 06 Ukwakira 2024, nyuma y’amasaha macye zigeze mu Rwanda, kuko zahageze ku wa Gatandatu tariki 05 Ukwakira.

Dr. Butera avuga ko izi nkingo zatangiye guhabwa abakora mu rwego rw’ubuzima, byumwihariko mu mashami afite ibyago byo kuba bakwandura.

Ati “Abantu bajya ahantu havurirwa indembe cyangwa ahasuzumirwa abajya kwa muganga, ndetse n’ababitaho mu kubafata no kubajyana kwa muganga n’abandi, abo ni bo twahereyeho, ariko bizanakomeza n’ibindi byiciro.”

Umunyamabanga wa Leta muri MINISANTE avuga ko nubwo iki gikorwa cyatangiriye kuri iki cyiciro, ariko kizanakomereza ku bandi bo mu rwego rw’ubuzima.

Dr. Yvan Butera avuga ko iki gikorwa cyatangiriye ahantu hatandatu ariko ko kizanakorwa mu buryo bwo gusangisha abantu inkingo aho bakorera (Mobile Clinic).

Izi nkingo ziri gutangwa mu Rwanda, zatangiye gukoreshwa muri 2018 muri Leta Zunze Ubumwe za America, ndetse abakingiwe bose zikaba zitarabagizeho ingaruka.

Dr. Butera ati “Ndetse n’ejobundi umwaka ushize mu Gihugu cya Kenya na Uganda, bakaba barakingiye byaragenze neza, rero tukaba tubona yuko nta mbogamizi zizagaragara. Tukaba dushishikariza abantu kwitabira gahunda zose tuba tubagezaho harimo n’iyi yo gutanga inkingo, kuko cyane cyane muri izi ndwara z’ibyorezo zandura, gahunda yo gukingira igira uruhare rukomeye mu kurinda abantu ko Marburg yabagiraho ingaruka ariko no kwirinda ko ikwirakwira ryayo ryakomeza.”

Umunyamabanga wa Leta muri MINISANTE avuga ko kuva izi nkingo zatangira gutangwa, nta muntu n’umwe ziragiraho ingaruka ku buryo nta n’ikindi kibazo na kimwe rutera.

Dr. Butera yizeza ko izi nkingo nta ngaruka na nke zigira ku mubiri w’umuntu
