Ishami ry’Umuryango w’Abibumbye ryita ku Buzima (WHO) ryemeje ko indwara ya Monkeypox iherutse kwaduka ku Isi, abantu bashobora no kuyanduzanya mu gihe cy’imibonano mpuzabitsina.

Byemeywe n’Ishami ry’Umuryango w’Abibumbye ryita ku Buzima kuri uyu wa Mbere nyuma y’ubushakashati bwakozwe ku bantu 200 bo mu Bihugu birenga 10.

Iyi ndwara ikomeje gufata intera i Burayi ndetse no muri Amerikay a Ruguru kuva mu cyumweru gishize ndetse hakaba hari icyoba ko gishobora gukomeza gukwirakwira hakurikijwe isesengura riri gukorwa n’abahanga mu ndwara.

Mu minsi 10 ishize, u Bwongereza bwemereye Ishami ry’Umuryango w’Abibumbye ko hagaragaye abantu babiri barwaye iyi ndwara yari ibonetse bwa mbere muri iki Gihugu mu gihe yari isanzwe izwi muri Afurika mu myaka 40 ishize.

Mu mpera z’icyumweru gishize, WHO yakoze inama idasanzwe yigaga kuri iyi ndwara iterwa na Virus ndetse baragaza inyigo yakozwe igaragaza uburyo iyi ndwara yandura, ibimenyetso byayo ndetse n’abafite ibyago byo kuba bayirwara.

Mu cyumweru gitaha biteganyijwe ko hazaba indi nama izagaragarizwamo ubundi bushakashatsi ku makuru arambuye kuri iyi ndwara.

WHO yemeje ko iyi ndwara nubwo itabarwa mu ndwara zisanzwe zizwi ko zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina ariko ishobora gukwirakwira binyuze mu ntanga z’abagabo ndetse no mu matembabuzi asanzwe aba mu gitsina cy’abagore.

Ibi byagaragaye mu bushakashatsi bwerekanye ko hari abagabo banduriye mu mibonano mpuzabitsina bakoranye n’abagabo bagenzi babo.

Andy Seale usanzwe ari Umujyanama muri WHO ku  ndwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina, yagize ati “Indwara nyinshi zishobora kwandura abantu bakorana imibonano mpuzabitsina yaba iy’abadahuje ibitsina ndetse n’abahuje ibitsina ariko ntibivuze ko izi ndwara ari izandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina (Sexually Transmitted Disease).”

WHO yibutsa ko iyi ndwara ya Monkeypox isanzwe inandura mu buryo busanzwe buzwi bwo gukora ku mjntu wanduye cyangwa inyamaswa n’ibikoresho biriho iyi virusi.
