Hasobanuwe impamvu hari umuti w’abana wahagaritswe ku isoko ry’u Rwanda

Ikigo cy’Igihugu gishinzwe Kugenzura Ibiribwa n’Imiti mu Rwanda (Rwanda FDA) cyahagaritse ikoreshwa rya nimero 329304 y’umuti wa Benylin Pediatrics Syrup ukorwa n’Uruganda Johnson & Johnson rwo muri Afurika y’Epfo, kinatangaza impamvu.

Nk’uko bikubiye mu itangazo ryashyizwe hanze na Rwanda FDA, rivuga ku ihagarikwa ryo gukwirakwiza no gukoresha nimero 329304 y’umuti wa Benylin Pediatrics Syrup, iki Kigo kivuga ko bishiniye ku rindi tangazo ryashyizwe hanze n’Ikigo Gishinzwe Kugenzura Ibiribwa n’Imiti muri Nigeria (NAFDAC) ku ya 10 Mata 2024.

Iki kigo cyo muri Nigeria nacyo cyahagaritse ikoreshwa ry’iyi nimero 329304 y’umuti wa Benylin Pediatrics Syrup, nyuma y’amasuzuma yakozwe na Laboratwari.

NAFDAC yavuze ko “amasuzuma ya Laboratwari yakorewe kuri uwo muti, yagaragaje ko ufite igipimo cyo hejuru kitemewe cy’ikinyabutabire cyitwa Diethylene Glycol, kandi ko icyo gipimo cyo hejuru cyagaragaje ingaruka mbi ku nyamaswa zikorerwaho amasuzuma muri Laboratwari.”

Ikigo cy’Igihugu gishinzwe Kugenzura Ibiribwa n’Imiti mu Rwanda (Rwanda FDA) kigendeye kuri ibi byatangajwe na NAFDAC, kigira kiti “Ibi bikaba bishobora kugira ingaruka mbi ku bantu.”

Rwanda FDA ivuga ko hagendewe ku makuru y’imiti, iyi nimero 329304 y’umuti wa Benylin Pediatrics Syrup ukorwa n’Uruganda Johnson & Johnson rwo muri Afurika y’Epfo, yinjijwe ku isoko ry’u Rwanda muri Kamena 2022, ikaba yari ifite itariki izarangiriraho yo muri Mata uyu mwaka wa 2024.

Ubusanzwe uyu muti wa Benylin Pediatrics Syrup uvura inkorora n’ibimenyetso byayo birimo gufungana, umuriro n’izindi ndwara zitetwa na Aleriji ku bana bafite imyaka iri hagati y’ibiri na 12.
