MoMo Rwanda Ltd, in partnership with the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), has officially launched ‘Iremere EjoHeza’, a digital solution that enables Rwandans to seamlessly and automatically contribute to their retirement using MoMo.
Launched on this Tuesday 25th November 2025, Iremere EjoHeza allows MoMo users to contribute towards their long-term financial well-being and retirement by saving on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis—directly from their mobile money wallets.
To start saving, users simply dial *182*5*3# and follow the prompts to choose “Iremere EjoHeza.”
Speaking at the launch event, Chantal Kagame, CEO of MoMo Rwanda Ltd, shared: “ This collaboration with RSSB is rooted in a shared vision: empowering every Rwandan—regardless of income level or location—to prepare for a secure and independent future. At MoMo, we aspire to be more than a financial institution—we want to be a daily partner to every Rwandan, wherever they are. Our mission goes beyond offering digital transactions; it’s about supporting our communities to live financially secure and dignified lives. ‘Iremere EjoHeza’ is a step in that direction—a simple, practical tool for every Rwandan to build a better tomorrow, one saving at a time.”
“The uptake we had during the pilot month before today’s official launch of “Iremere na EjoHeza” demonstrates the trust our members have in the product and the effectiveness of this new feature. More than 100,000 active standing orders activated on “Iremere na EjoHeza” already show that Rwandans are ready to secure their future when given tools that make saving easier and more consistent.” stated Regis Rugemanshuro, CEO of RSSB
With Iremere EjoHeza, saving is no longer a complicated or far-off concept—it’s just one tap away.
