The Government of Rwanda has announced that, in partnership with Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, it has donated 40 tons of humanitarian aid to assist those affected by the war in Gaza.
This was announced in a statement released on Thursday, July 10,2025, which noted that the aid was once again provided through Rwanda’s cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The statement reads: “The Government of Rwanda, in partnership with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, has this week delivered two shipments of humanitarian assistance destined for Gaza.
Similar to previous shipments, this week’s deliveries of over 40 tons of foodstuff and medical supplies are a contribution to ongoing international relief efforts and were received in Amman by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.”
This marks the fourth time Rwanda has sent aid to support victims of the conflict in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
These donations by the Government of Rwanda include a 20-ton shipment of food and medicine delivered in May 2025 also channeled through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
This time around, Rwanda donated 40 tons of aid consisting of food and medicine which, according to the statement, was also received in Amman by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
Back in November 2024, the Rwandan government also donated aid to Gaza, sending 19 tons of food supplies that included items specifically for children.
In 2023, Rwanda had likewise provided another 16 tons of aid, which included food, beverages, and medicine to assist those affected by the ongoing conflict.
