Menya umubare w’abagiye kwivuriza indwara zo mu mutwe mu Bitaro bya Ndera n’ubwiyongere bwabayeho

Ibitaro by’Indwara zo mu Mutwe bya Ndera (Ndera Neuropsychiatric Teaching Hospital) byatangaje ko mu mwaka wa 2024-2025 byakiriye abantu 119 859 bajyiye kubyivurizamo, biyongereyeho 17,7% ugereranyije n’umwaka ushize.

Iyi mibare igaragazwa na Raporo yashyizwe hanze n’ibi Bitaro bikorera mu Murenge wa Ndera mu Karere ka Gasabo mu Mujyi wa Kigali, bivura indwara zo mu mutwe.

Muri aba bagannye ibi Bitaro bajyiye kwivuza hagati y’uriya mwaka wa 2024 na 2025, abavuwe bacumbikiwe mu Bitaro, ni 4 250 bari bafite ibibazo by’uburwayi bunyuranye.

Uburwayi buri ku isonga abantu bajyiye kwivuriza muri biriya Bitaro muri uriya mwaka, ni indwara ya Epilepsy izwi nk’Igicuri mu rurimi rw’Ikinyarwanda, aho abajyiye kuyivuza ari 36 097, bangana na 29,08% bya bariya bivuje bose.

Ku mwanya wa kabiri, haza abajyiye kwivuza indwara ya Schizophrenia, aho abagiye kuyivuza bo ari 24 991 bangana na 20,14%.

Iyi ndwara iri mu zo mu mutwe zibasira benshi, ikunze gufata abageze ku cyiciro cy’ubugimbi n’ubwangavu, aho uyirwaye aba yiyumva nk’uri mu Isi ya wenyine.

Inzobere mu ndwara zo mu mutwe, Dusabeyezu Jeanne d’Arc wigeze kuvuga ko iyi ndwara “akenshi ifata abantu batangiye kuryoherwa n’ubuzima mu by’amashuri cyangwa se akazi.”, yavuze ko mu bimenyetso byayo harimo kugira ibitekerezo byihariye bidahuye n’ukuri bitandukanye n’iby’abandi bantu.

Ku mwanya wa gatatu haje ibibazo bya Acute &Transient Psychotic Disorders, aho abajyiye kubyivuriza muri biriya Bitaro ari 10 349 bangana na 8,34%.

Ku mwanya wa kane haza Bipolar Disorder cyangwa uburwayi bwo mu mutwe butera impinduka zidasanzwe mu mitekerereze y’umuntu, aho abajyiye kuyivuza bo ari 7 235 bangana na 5,83%.

Ku mwanya wa gatanu, haza Depression benshi bakunze kwita agahinda gakabije, yo yivurijwe mu Bitaro bya Ndera n’abantu 4 076 bangana na 3,28%.

Ku mwanya wa gatandatu hari Substance Use Disorders cyangwa ibibazo byo mu mutwe bitera gukoresha ry’ibiyobyabwenge no kuba imbata yabyo, aho hivuje abantu 3 229 bangana na 2,7%.

Ubuyobozi bw’Ibitaro bya Ndera, bugaragaza ko muri bariya bantu bose babigannye, abari baje kwivuza ibibazo byo mu mutwe byagira ingaruka ku mitekerereze (Psychiatric cases) ari 66 335 (55,33%) mu gihe abivuzaga ibibazo bigira ingaruka ku bwonko (Neurological cases) ari 53 524 (44, 67%).
