Eleven soldiers ranked as Officers and Sous-officiers within the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC), including three Colonels, are being prosecuted for diverting food supplies intended for their fellow soldiers. The stolen items include 250 bags of maize flour, 80 bags of rice, and powdered milk.
These soldiers were brought before Military Justice system in Congo, accused of illegally selling food that had been allocated to troops engaged in military operations in the northeastern region of the DRC.

The document states that these acts not only violate military regulations but also amount to betraying soldiers deployed on the frontline, who depended on the food to sustain them and support their performance during combat.
Among the soldiers involved are three Colonels:
- Colonel Ngongo Makuba Sadam, Commander of ther 3rd Regiment 414,
- Colonel Bigaya Lokasa, Commander of Regiment 2 102,
