Imibare y’Ikigo cy’Igihugu cy’Ubuzima RBC, igaragaza ko abivuza indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina mu Rwanda, bageze kuri 5,3% muri 2023 buvuye kuri 4,2% bariho muri 2022. RBC yagaragaje icyabiteye, ndetse n’ubwoko bw’izi ndwara bwasanganywe abantu benshi.

Iyi mibare ya RBC, ishingira ku yakusanyijwe mu Bigo Nderabuzima binyuranye mu Gihugu y’abasanganywe indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina zizwi nka STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections).

Umuyobozi w’agashami gashinzwe Indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina n’izindi zandurira mu maraso muri RBC, Dr. Charles Berabose, yabwiye ikinyamakuru The New Times ko kuba harabaye izamuka ry’iyi mibare, bitavuze ko izi ndwara ziyongereye, ahubwo ko ari uko abantu benshi bitabiriye kuzisuzumisha no kwaka ubuvuzi bwazo.

Yavuze ko izamuka ry’ubwitabire, na ryo ryaturutse ku ngamba zashyizwe mu bukangurambaga bwakozwe.

Ubwoko bw’indwara bwasanganywe abantu benshi, ni Trichomonas vaginalis, mu gihe ubwoko bw’indwara bwasanganywe bacye ari Gonorrhoea, Syphilis na Chlamydia.

Abantu bo mu cyiciro cy’abageze igihe cyo kubyara by’umwihariko abari hagati y’imyaka 20 na 45, ni bo bakunze kujya kwaka serivisi z’ubuvuzi.

Dr Berabose avuga ko ubuyobozi bwashyize imbaraga mu kongera ubukangurambaga binyuze mu bitangazamakuru nko mu biganiro bitambuka kuri Televiziyo na Radio kuko ari bwo buryo bwiza bwo kwigisha abaturage ibijyanye n’indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina.

Nanone kandi, hongerewe imbaraga mu mahugurwa ahabwa abavuzi mu bijyanye n’ubuvuzi bw’izi ndwara, kugira ngo babashe gutanga serivisi zifite ireme ku bazirwaye.

Aboneraho kwibutsa abaturage gufata ingamba zo kwirinda, nko kwicyebesha ku bagabo, kwirinda iminonano mpuzabitsina idakingiye ndetse no kwirinda gukoresha ibikoresho bimwe nk’inzembe ndetse no kwambarana imyenda y’imbere.

Umuyobozi Mukuru w’Umuryango wita ku bafite ubwandu bwa Virusi itera SIDA (AHF/ AIDS Healthcare Foundation) Dr Julius Kamwesiga avuga ko hakwiye kujyaho ingamba zo kugenzura abafite izi ndwara kuko, abazifite bagihabwa akato gashobora gutuma batajya kwivuza.

Asaba kandi ko habaho ishoramari ryinshi mu bikorwa byo kuvura indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina, bityo n’abaganga bakaba babasha kubona laboratwari bakoreramo ibizamini, aho gutanga serivisi bagendeye ku bimenyetso gusa.

Umuganga w’indwara z’abagore, Dr Mireille Uwineza, avuga ko indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina zigihari kandi ko abantu bakwiye kwitwararika mu kuzirinda.

Ati “Zitera ingaruka zikomeye zirimo ubugumba no kuba hafungwa inzira y’inkari.”

Dr Mireille Uwineza asaba abantu kujya bajya kwisuzumisha aho kujya kugura imiti muri za Pharmacies igihe babonye ibimenyetso.

Ishami ry’Umuryango w’Abibumbye ryita ku Buzima, rivuga ko ku munsi habarwa abantu miliyoni 1 ku Isi bandura indwara zandurira mu mibonano mpuzabitsina, kandi benshi muri bo badahita babona ibimenyetso.

Iri shami kandi rivuga ko buri mwaka ababarirwa muri miliyoni 374 bandura izi ndwara, aho 1/4 cyazo ziba ari iz’ubwoko bw’izikira, nka chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis na trichomoniasis.
